A suspected kidnapper has been apprehended by men of Benue State community volunteer guards in Itabono Owukpa,Ogbadibo Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect identified as Chinedu Ike from Enugu state, was arrested inside Akapan Owukpa forest on Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022. According to the volunteer guards, the suspect confessed to being a member of 3-man kidnap gang but the two others escaped.
The group has launched manhunt for the fleeing suspects.
